Bring Your Kids to Campus Day Activities
Activities you and your child may choose to participate in for Bring Your Kids to Campus Day 2012
(Parents are expected to remain with their child at all activities unless noted otherwise!)
THURSDAY April 26 7pm-Harlem Globe Trotters
The Globetrotters will play at OSU for the first time in 10 years at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26 at Gil Coliseum. OSU employees can save up to $9 off per ticket. To order and for questions contact: Blake Stewart, 602-707-7021 or stewart@harlemglobetrotters.com
8:30am-11:30am Dixon Family Swim Time
FREE! Limited to 60 individuals in the pool at one time on a first come, first serve basis. See details and rules below. Rules will be strictly enforced.
Family Swim Time Rules:
The following supervision limits and guidelines for family swim time will be strictly enforced:
*Must be accompanied by a participating adult (age 18 or older) at all times.
*May only participate during Family Swim Hours.
*If a child is not able to move in the water without feet touching the bottom or needs to wear a life-jacket, the child is considered a non-swimmer. Only three “non-swimmers” per adult and the adult must be in the water within arm's reach of the children.
*Only five “swimmers” per adult and the adult must be able to directly observe the children.
*Babies are allowed in the pool with plastic swim diapers.
9am, 10am, 11am, 12 pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm Sea Anemone Lab Tour- Zoology Department.
FREE! Limited to 15 individuals on a first come first serve basis. Children 3rd grade and above can participate with their parent(s). Meet at 3126 Cordley Hall. Tours start on the hour and last about 30 minutes.
12:00pm-5:00pm MU Basement Bowling
Families receive one free game of bowling per person. Families must pay for shoe rental ($1 per person). Any additional games that a family chooses to bowl, above the 1 free game will cost $3 per person.
12:00pm-5:00pm Volleyball
FREE! Located at McAlexander Fieldhouse. Limited to 12 participants on a first come first serve basis. Beach balls and volleyballs will be available and games will be loosely structured.
1:00pm-5:00pm Dixon Family Climb Time
FREE! Located at McAlexander Fieldhouse Limited to 18 individuals at one time. Individuals access the rock wall on a first come first serve basis. See rules below. Rules will be strictly enforced.
Family Climb Rules:
*Child must be accompanied by a participating adult (age 18 or older) at all times.
*May only participate during Family Climb Hours.
*Children in the ICC must be under control of and within arm's reach of the supervising adult when not climbing.
*Youth under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign a youth waiver on a yearly basis.
*Youth under the age of 16 are not allowed to spot for bouldering or to belay.
*Only two children per parent or adult guardian.

1:00-2:00pm Tour de RecSports
FREE! Join us at the Dixon Recreation Center West Entry to cycle through an interactive tour of the recreation center. Beavers of all generations are welcome to come and play. Limited to 30 individuals on a first come first serve basis.
1:00pm-4:00pm Dodgeball
FREE! Located at McAlexander Fieldhouse. Drop-in play.
1:00pm-6:00 pm KidSpirit ACES Program
$10- Gym games, art and lots of fun! Pre-registration through KidSpirit is required! Parents do not need to remain with their child for this activity! http://kidspirit.oregonstate.edu/registration
